Dear Exhibitors, Visitors andcooperative partner::
In view of the many potential risks and adverse effects of the incidence of novel coronaviruses and the lack of vaccination coverage in Germany, the LogiMAT organizers have made the following decision:
LogiMAT, originally scheduled for March 8-10, 2022 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in Germany, has been extended to May 31-June 2, 2022, and the online platform LogiMAT.digital will be extended until the end of June 2022.
"The current high prevalence of new coronavirus infections is disturbing to everyone, including exhibitors. This is understandable and they cannot simply be ignored. This is why we have had to respond again to the current situation. Our exhibitors need to finalize their plans, and this is very difficult right now." Michael Ruchty, Program Director of LogiMAT Germany, explains, "As things stand today, it is unclear whether it will be possible to organize a full live event in March, while exhibitors want to come and visit. However, if vaccination rates remain low, which could strain medical capacity to the point where more stringent measures are once again put in place, then this would be detrimental to all concerned. Every effort must be made to ensure that the event meets the reasonable expectations of exhibitors and visitors on site. This is why many exhibitors clearly support the postponement of the show."
Exhibitors' Voices
Christian Erlach, Chief Marketing Officer of Jungheinrich Lift Trucks (Jungheinrich AG in Hamburg), said, "The health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority at the Jungheinrich stand. We welcome and support the necessary decision to postpone the show to a less risky time slot and look forward to a successful LogiMAT 2022."
Steffen Bersch, CEO of the SSI SCHAEFER Group, explains: "We fully support this decision. The current situation does not allow for reliable planning. We are looking forward to the next trade fair in Stuttgart with some exciting new products and innovations!prescriptionFor those attendingsectorprofessionals to deliver their services. This depends not only on safe event management, but also on reliable programs."
Guest Voices
"This decision is regrettable but understandable. This decision is absolutely correct and necessary to enable all exhibitors and visitors to attend a predictable and safe event. Looking back at the experience of the last two years, the May dates offer significantly better conditions." Munich IndustrycollegeDr. Johannes Fottner, Professor of Materials Processing, Materials Flow and Physics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Chairman of the "LogiMAT Best Product" jury, added.
"We apologize for such a decision, but the date at the end of May is perfect. It is great that with the support of the Stuttgart hall operator we were able to meet the needs of our exhibitors at such short notice." Peter Kazander, Managing Director of Messe Conferences Europe, explains, "Until the end of May, we will continue to use our state-of-the-art platform LogiMAT.digital together with our exhibitors to close the gaps and keep in touch with industry professionals."
As the organizer, European Exhibitions & Conferences would like to express its gratitude to all exhibitors and partners for their loyalty, patience and support, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused, and hopes for your understanding.Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we will be happy to serve you.
